A steal of a deal on a nice scope. Unless they have a high end specialty to the Redhead line that I missed last trip to basspro they are all China made. I got the scope today, it's not all that bad, eye relief is short, about 3", but that's fine for the it's going on, everything seems to work fine, power ring turns smooth, not too tight or loose, turret adjustments are crisp, view is bright and clear, so far I'd say it's comparable to a Nikon Prostaff, although the Prostaff's eye relief isn't as critical, has a larger eye box which would make a big difference to most shooters. One year might be a great value, the next not worth half the price if BP doesn't monitor the quality and hold to good specs. I am calling Nikon tomorrow to verify or not if the claims on the epic 4. My guess is that it is just some Chinese optics plant.
